5. 4 months later and not even 1,000 mi added to the car I am unable to see what gear I am in.
1. Gas tank filter was broken. I approached the dealership about it the same week and JIM said "It was how the Ford Rangers were made." I later was told by a mechanic someone had siphoned the gas tank.
4. The interior roof light fell off which revealed a black hole. JIM glued the plastic cover on.
This was one of the worst experiences with a car lot my fiancee and i have ever had. They lie cheat and steal and don't care about your wellbeing or the car they are putting you in as long as they are making a profit. Dan and David and Jim himself are all scammers. It shouldn't be what do you do come on down. It should be we will be glad to rip you off come on down. The worst customer service in the valley.

6. The day after, my car goes into neutral while on REDWOOD HWY and I am no longer able to drive my car. The transmission is out.
2. The seat belt broke 1 month later
I had a great experience here, they had a great car that I was looking for, were more than fair with my trade in and were not pushy. A.J. helped me and was awesome. I don't understand all these bad reviews, I have bought several cars at other small car lots and was treated much worse than here. Paperwork was fast and I was out of there in and out. I guess it helped I knew what I was looking for but still great experience, probably the best experience buying a car here.
Bought a car from them. They said their mechanic went through everything with a fine tooth comb. A few months after purchase it just quit moving. Towed it to the shop found out it was an error on a mechanics part because he was in such a hurry he forgot to tighten a piece down. O they didn't do it. So we call the extended warranty place that we purchased when we bought the car. That's a joke too they aren't going to fix it either. So now we get to figure out how we are going to pay for a new axle and transmission because because Copeland's used cars and there extended warranty program are a joke. So stay away if you know what's best shop elsewhere.
Aside from everything that has happened with my truck the service was just despicable. I signed the paperwork for the car however JIM called me back in to sign the CORRECT paperwork and JIM did not give me a temporary license plate which I could have gotten a ticket for. While JIM got the paperwork he said to me "Alright LITTLE GIRL here we are." I paused and with anger, hurt and frustration and responded with "excuse me?" I am 22 years old and 5 ft tall weighing 105 lbs I know I am small but that is in no circumstance a reason for them to underestimate, disrespect, and treat me with such abominable customer service. I was giving them my business, money and trust. This was my first car and the experience at JIM COPELANDS USED CAR DEALERSHIP was completely traumatizing.
