My first review here would have been 2 Stars, but because of Curtis, 5 is well deserved. I was recommended here by a few co-workers but wanted to experience the service for myself. I hear the commercials all day on the radio for Kelly’s and I have to say I like what they stood for, that’s what brought me here. We had a minor hiccup with our service but that isn’t really what I want to share in this review. What I want to share is that everything was made right, and than some, in an extremely quick manner. I want to call out Curtis for not only remedying a situation, but the follow up afterwords. Customer Service is key in industries and he not only showed that, but showed the type of character and reputation that Kelly’s is known for. I would definitely suggest Kelly’s for your automotive needs and if you have any concerns or issues don’t be afraid to bring them up, respectfully of course. Thank you again!
My name is Colleen. I was making a trip to California from Washington by myself to see my elderly mother. As I was driving uphill my car blew a rod. A sound I had never heard before. I was able to pull over and get my car off the freeway as the trucks flew on by. I was in tears, scared and didn't know what to do. I was alone. If you are ever to break down, Grants Pass is the place to do it. The kindness of this town was overwhelming! All the way from the Officer that pulled over, calmed me down and called a tow truck. ( I wish I could remember the name of the towing company) to KELLY"S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE where I was towed. Motel 6 even had great customer service where I stayed for the night with a reduced charge for my room. Kelly"s Automotive Service was so helpful the next day. Still in shock over what had happened I arrived at the auto shop. They were so compassionate . Curtis let me store what was left of my broken down car, and they even drove me to rent another vehicle. Later, I sent them my title and they sold the car for me. My poor broken down car. The money they received from the sale they sent out to me in a check. They did not charge me storage or any other fees for that matter. Thank you to all at Kelly"s Automotive Service, I am greatful and blessed.
I recently brought in my sons car in for a diagnosis of a electrical problem that was causing a backfire. After a week I was informed that the problem was a faulty ECU and that it needed to be replaced. The total cost for repairs was going to be around $600. I agreed and work began. Two weeks later I got a call from Kelly's that the ECU had been replaced but the backfire problem still remained. At this point, they told me the problem must be a bad spark-plug wire and car needed a new set. This repair was going to run another $400. But this didn't make any sense. Because the spark-plug wires were new. They only had 200 miles on them. So, I picked up the car. They charged me the $600 and I drove away 3 weeks later with a car that not only still backfired but now had a broken drives side door handle as well.
Pay cheap for great service! Customer service is 5 star no doubt. They treat you like family and they went above and beyond my expectations. Will be returning if I need it for sure!
While I agree with most reviews that everyone the folks at Kelly's Automotive are very nice, that doesn't make up for my poor experience.
Very professional staff, did an awesome job installing fox coilovers on my 2014 Toyota Tundra. Will definitely use them again!
After a 10 minute google search at home I figured that the problem must be the distributor. I ordered a new one and installed it myself. The problem was finally fixed. Kelly Automotive may be filled with nice people but I will never take another car to them again. Not even for an oil change.
