Just finished our 88 gmc! We'd been trying to fix it for a few months. We finally brought it in to Xtreme auto and he figured it out in a day! Friendly fast and affordable would definitely recommend giving him a try!
Just... Being a customer, I personally didn't leave there feeling satisfied. I will never recommend them. Frank is a HUSTLER.

Plus... He doesn't show you what you're paying for. I've paid over 2000, and I'm unclear on how I was charged. Yes I have a receipt, but it is hand written and VERY unclear. I have an appointment with Dodge later this week and I will make sure they look over what he's done, and HASN'T done. While on the phone with him, he said he was going to do THIS and do THAT, and that is why he charged that way. I felt good for the moment, until I got the car back and I didn't notice one change. NOT ONE.
This was my first time at a mechanic as my car has been very reliable, and FRANK definitely exposed and took advantage of that fact.
This guy is a scam. My car broke down in grants pass and my insurance recommended this place so I had it towed there. Frank doesn't even call you, you have to call him. He says he's very busy and will call me when he takes a look at my car. Ok 5 days later, he calls and tells me that my head gasket is blown. He then goes on about how he hates doing the job and will charge me 3500-4500! Forget get that ridiculous price I had it towed back to Portland to a nearby mechanic. He charged me a diagnostic fee around $65.00 ok that's a fair price if he actually looked at my car! My local mechanic just finished my car and he's charged me $500 for the radiator, thermostat, and water pump. This guy is dishonest and tried to take advantage of me. Please take your vehicle elsewhere.
charged me around 450 to fix an irrelevant problem at the time. then shows the true culprit and and I ask how much... He pauses and thinks for a moment then says around 1400 with a little smirk on his face to fix it as if he was just MAKING UP A NUMBER to charge me.
Almost 2000 dollars later, my car still doesn't run like it should and Frank tells me to call Dodge. While fixing the car he couldn't complete it, as he doesn't have a "Crankshaft Position Variation Learning Procedure."
I truly feel scammed. He said he has 30 plus years experience, but had a hard time figuring out what was wrong with my car when it was something basic.
Not only was I charged the MAXIMUM quote which seemed odd to me, but the car still didn't run like it used to.
This is another shop go see Frank he'll take care of your car

Long story(s) short... He said it would take about a week to fix my car, maybe week and a half.. 3 weeks later I pick it up
Today was my first ever experience with Extreme Auto Repair. There are three words in the business name. Frank sent me down the road SAME DAY humming the tune "On the road again."Thanks for the brake pads that ended up requiring two new rotors. Fair $. Left not feeling burned.
